Bit Id sez when it,-eomes t" shows with chorus girls thet he's strong in .favor o' elevatin' th' stage. A fino program has been prepared for the monthly song service tomorrow evening at the Presbyterian church and the people of Crown Point are cordially invited to attend. The program, given below, contains many vocal and instrumental selections and promises to be most enjoyable. The program: Voluntary "Spring Song." Miss Ethel Keileman. "Holiness Becometh Thine House" Choir. Solo Selected, Miss Belle Peterson. Duet "Shadows of the Evening Hours," Misses Barthoiomac and Crawford. Anthem "Sing I'nto the Lord." choir. Ladies' quartet Mesdames Heigh"wy and T'.nkham, Misses Heileman and Bartholomae. Anthem "Sing Praises," Choir. Solo Edward Glover. Ensemble Violins S. S. Orchestra. Duet "Come. Holy Spirit," Mrs. Tinkham, Miss Vada MeNay.

Boys' Quartet Messrs. Allmanv Martin, Bruce, Hlxote. Anthem "Crown Him Lord of All," Choir. Postlude (Grand Chorus in B-f.at), Miss Heileman. The high school basketball team who

have made such an enviable record at the game tills year, went to Michigan City last evening for a game with the high school team there. Tonight the five will go to Valparaiso for probably the last game of the season. Quite a few of the students accompanied the team and are looking for Crown Point to capture both games. The annexation question seems to be

the chief topic of conversation in

especially wherever the

farmers are wont to congregate. Few,

If any, of the farmers are in favor of the project and in some cases-express their opinion in no gentle terms. As the movement does not seem to meet

with popular favor in Crown Point, as

far as it can be ascertained, and the

farmers are bitterly opposed to it, it

is predicted that the city council will

refuse to meddle with the annexation

problem except In a few necessary cases at the present time. Tt is safe

to say that the annexation ordinance

will be greatly modified In regards to Its scope of territory to be annexed by the city council before they meddle with the proposition. Frost Is said to be deeper in the ground at this time of the year than at any time -within the recollection of the oldest settlers. The severe cold

weather and the absence of any quan

tity of snow Is responsible for the depth of the frost in the ground. List of Letters Belle Sutter, Charles

Mrs. David Maney is reported on the

tions and improvements. No other bus
