Dog vs. Duck. The case of the state of Indiana vs. Costa Kunekoff was settled in Judge Prest's court yesterday afternoon after the defendant paid Jacob Krikciimuos, the complaining witness, a sum of $2.50 for a couple of ducks which were killed by a dog owned by the defendant. Kunekoff was arrested on a charge of harboring a vicious dog which had killed and maimed a number of his poultry. ' I Have Served You Faithfully for Twelve Years. r r believe that during the Twelve Years that I have served the people of Hammond I have established an enviable reputation. While money is a great deal in this world, stll good reputation is far more valuable. Twelve years ago I realized that in order to build a successful, business I would have to sell good goods, guarantee them and ask a moderate4 price. I did this, and the consequence is that each year during these twelve years, my business has increased. Now, during the coming Holidays I want to do a better and larger business than ever before. I know that the only way I can do it is to show better goods at the same money or the same goods for less money than you can buy them elsewhere. You will be doing yourself a grave injustice if you even think of buying your Christmas Presents before seeing what I have to offer.
