An exceptionally pretty affair of the past week end 'was a dinner of fourteen covers at which Miss Therese Dorsey was hostess at her home In State street, Saturday evening. Miss Doraey entertained in compliment to her house guest. Miss Edna Koch of Detroit. A prettily appointed dinner of four courses was served at six o'clock. The prevailing: colors in the dining rooai were red and white and they were prettily carried out with flowers andy shaded tapers. Trailing vines and ferns decorated the table and the center piece was a bowl of red carnations. Daintily decorated places cards done in .the same c,olors were raid, for fourteen .young women. Printed. on the , cards were verses and conundrums, the reading -of which wis a pleasant feature of .the diner.
