The regular session will be held In Evanston today and this evening the teaclkf-13 will be entertained at Hul House. A dinno rat seven o'clock will ho followed by four little plays given by the Hull House players. Saturday's session will take place In the Art Institute In Chicago. The programs for all the sessions were vary atlrattve and were anticipated with a great ileal of pleasure and Interest. MRS. MKAll EXTEKTAIXS. Mrs. J. A. 3tea:7 presided over a pretty social entertainment yesterday afternoon la the parlors of the Hotel Carleton." Among the guests were tho members of the Columbia club who met for their regular bi-monthly meeting' and a few other friends. Mrs. J. M. Turner, Mrs. T. Edwin Bell and Mrs. J. C. Lavene were the Jnvlted guests for the afternoon. An enjoyabl time was spent at- the card tables where several games of euchre were played progressively. High scorcea were made by Mrs. W. F, Mashlno and Mrs. John E. Kitsgerald. A luncheon was served following the games. In two weeks the members will be the( guests of Mrs. John E. Fitzgerald at a one o'clock luncheon and afternoon euchre party. Mrs. Fitzgerald will entertain at her Carroll street residence. ENTERTAINS WITH CARDS. Three tables of whist were played Wednesday afternoon by the members of tho "Fern Keaf Linen club who were tho guests of Mrs. J. Ransbotton at her home In Claude street. It was the regular bi-monthly mee'tlng and only the members were present. They played several games of whist during the afternoon and the honors' were won by Mrs. Walter McCumsey, who had high score. Other prizes were won by Mrs. M. Pelzman. and Mrs. Charles Hubbard. The consolation prize was awarded to Mrs. Ray Fowler. At the conclusion of the games a prettily appointed luncheon was served. The refreshments vere served In three courses. Mrs. Frederick A. Bull "will be the next hostess and she will entertain the club members at her home, 644, Ann street in. two weeks on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. FSull will entertain with cards.

A CARD PARTV. At her home in State Line street, Mrs. K Mayer very pleasantly entertained the members of Sewlnff Circle No. 2 of St. Margaret's hospital at their meeting yesterday afternoon. Several of the members were present and Mrs. Mayer had a number of invited guests. The usual social diversions were enjoyed. The guests met at the card tables where several games of pedro were plr-ed. Mrs. Peter Young won the first honors and prizes were won by Mrs. Joseph Emerling and Mrs. If. Stevenson. The guests prize was won by Mrs. Joseph Knoerzer. The serving of a daintyluncheon at four-thirty o'clock concluded the pleasant meeting. The members will meet again In two weeks and the hostess will be named later. RXJOY Til K AFTRHMOOX. Yesterday afternoon the members of the Good Will Club met with Mrs. Fraucks at her home, 4.1 Ogden street. Mrs. Francks entertained with cards and her guests played ten games of pedro at small tables in the parlors. Mrs. Henrietta Hubcr won the first honors and prizes were also won by Mrs. Kralowetz, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Luthman. The consolation prize was awarded to Mrs. Frank J. Waller. A dainty two course luncheon was served following the games. Covers were laid for twelve guests. In two weeks on Thursday afternoon Mrs.. A. B. C. CUB MEETING, Miss Adele Dunbar will entertain the
girls of the A. B. C. club this evening at her h6me in Rimbaeh avenue. It is their weekly club meeting and the usual social diversions will be enjoyed. A BOARD MEETING. The members of the executive board of the Hammond Woman's Club met at the home of the- secretary, Mrs. Xona Trimble in Carroll street last evening. A successful rehearsal of the program to be given by the children of the Wallace school at their circus this afternoon and evening in the school hall in Conkey avenue was held last evening. The program will be given by the children of the grades who will be dressed to represent animals, clowns and Indians. 'Tho program will show the work done in tho department of calisthenics during the past year. The evening performance will begin promptly at eight o'clock. The members of the Parents club will be in charge of booths where circus refreshments will be sold. The whole affairpromises to be enjoyable and It is desired that there is a large attend
ant as the proceeds will be used to 1 purchase school room decorations. The j admission fee for adults will 'be twenty-five cents and fifteen cents for children. Special cars have been hartered to accommodate the many Hammond, people who attend. Posters advertising the circus are distributed over the city. They are the work of the children of the fourth and fifth grades. A BRIDGE 1'ARTV. Miss Mary Nelson was hostess to the young women of the Inter Se Club last evening at her homo in South "Hohman tpreet. Miss Kelson entertained Mr. Walter Patton'and Miss Jane Conkey in company with the members. . The evening was devoted to jCards and bridge was played at three tables'. Following the games a luncheon was served in two courses. The next regular meeting of the members will be held Tuesday evening. November 7th at the home of Miss Agnes Meikle in South Hohman street.
