home In Mason stret. Mrs. Hammond

entertained at a masquerade In honor of her little daughters, Vergene and

Alice. The party was given to celebrate

their birthday anniversaries which oc

curred during the past week. The hours

for the party continued between four

and eight o'clock. There were between

fifty and sixty lltle boys and girls in masauerade received at the Hammond

home. The costumes worn by the chll

dren were very pretty. They spent the

hours enjoyably with games and con

tests after which a supper was served.
