Evangelists S. B. Shaw and wife of Grand Rapids, who held union meetings last winter In Hobart and 'Hammond, have just closed a successful tent campaign in Saginaw, Mich. The Saginaw Daily News says: 'Evangelists S. B. Shaw and wife closed their work at the tabernacle, corner of Mason and Adams. street, last night. They go from here to Dice for a few days where Mr. Shaw held a wonderfully successful revival many years ago. "These workers hav been in the city since early In June. During that time in connection w'.th their work in the churches and missions as well as at the tent many have been converted, reclaimed, revived or greatly helped and strengthened in their Christian life. The all-day meetings held at the taber
nacle were something entirely new In the city and were so successful that several of the pastors and mission workers are already punning to hold similar all-day meeting for prayer on the second Tuesday of each month. The first of those will be held at the City Itescue Mission on Germanla avenue, Tuesday, Sept. 12. 'Many of the parentB testify that a great work has been done among the children and this Is the most Important work that can be done. Mr. and
Mrs. Shaw gladly work on lines of agreement with all evangelical Christians, emphaxicing the essentials ot loving God supremely and our neighbors as ourselves. They have greatly endeared themselves to many hearts and will leave many life-long friends in Saginaw."
