(Special to The Timbs. Indiana Harbor, Sept. 8 The oldfashioned man who has seven fits when he has fits, landed in the East Chicago jail yesterday after having been arrested in the Harbor Wednesday afternoon. The seven fits were seven by actual count. The man is Gus Enochen, formerly of Hammond and a tinsmith by trade. He was arrested, for begging and , intoxication. After he was brought into
the jail he proceeded to have fit after flit until the police had checked up seven against him. He was later sent to St. Margaret's hospital for treatment. Several times when he fell into the fits which were responsible for his removal to the hospital, he injured himself by striking his head against the cement floor and on one occasion he cut his ear badly when it came'ln contact with the radiator in his cell. Whether the spells were the result of epilepsy or delirium tremens the physicians called in to attend him were unable to determine. It was necessary to restrain him by strapping him to his bunk in
order to prevent him from seriously injuring himself.
