Hlckey In South Hohman Street. Miss Hlckey invited hr guests to a costume party In honor of Miss Maude Foley, one of the brides of the month. They met rery Informally and spent the evening In a pleasant way with social gamea and contests. Music was also one of the features of entertainment until eleven o'clock when a daintily arranged luncheon of two courses was served. Miss Hiekey's only guests -were Mrs. Edward Witter, Mrs. O. O. Routsong. the Mlsse Hattle Hollcraft of Chicago, Maude Foley, Jennie Walton, Mary Rahen and Lois Hlckey. . INITIATE CANDIDATES. An Interesting meeting of the mem bers of the Dorcas Rebeckah Lodge was held last Saturday evening In I. O. O. F. Hall in State street. It was the regular weekly meeting and the usual large number of members attended The early hours were occupied with the transaction of the routine business. Routsong will entertain a number of Miss Foley's friends at a slumber party Saturday evening at her home In Douglas street. The members of the Ladles' Auxiliary to the University club postponed the meeting which wns anounced to take place today in the club rooms until next Tuesday, September lth. The members of the Jewish Ladles' Aid society have postponed the meeting i which was announced to take place Wednesday at the home of Mrs. I. I. Modjeska in Walter street. The change was made on account of the funeral of Mrs. Helerman which wll be held to morrow. Mrs. Modjeska wll entertain the ladies next Wednesday afternoon, September 13th and a large attendance is desired. ENTERTAIN GlESTS. Mr. Fred Dahl who Is employed by the Gary Steel Co. and sister Grace Dahl were visitors at Schrum Bros, in Thorn dale Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schrum and children went to Lowell last Thursday In their auto mobile by way of Shelby. Mrs. Schrum and children returned Sunday after noon. While at Lowell they visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dahl and other friends. A CHRISTENING. The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wolters of West Sibley stree was christened at St. Paul's Lutheran church Sunday morning. The Rev. Theo.
