Rev. W. R. Reed Dead. Sad news was received in Hammond yesterday that the Rev. W. R. Reed of Argos, Ind.. father of Mrs. J. Davis, Charles J. Reed ,and Robert Reed of Hammond, had died there yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock. The relatives left for Argos last night, where funeral services will be held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Gaborov Case Continued. The case of the state of Indiana vs. Ziza Gaborov, an officer in lodge No. 115 of the (Serb Federation "Sloga," was continued in Judge Ames court until Saturday, Sept. 2. J he defendant gave bond for appeare and was arrested on a charge of embezzlig $102 of the lodge's funds.
