The po- j Jicja have arrested a-ring leader in aj gang of young hoodlums who have leen making their headquarters in dugouts of their own construction, and who have carried on a carer of petty thievery for some time. The boy ar- I rested is Peter Beschen of 4949 Alexander avenue, aged fifteen, and he is one of eight boys who constitute the ; gang of "outlaws." The arrest was made yesterday even- i ing by Officer Joe Lencioni, who, is in- ; asmuch as his prisoner had been ai captive once before and had given the j police the slip on that occasion, hanacuffed the youthful prisoner and . led him thus into the station.
