POSTPOSK T11K MEETING. The meeting of the members of the N. N. Embroidery Club which was announced to take place last evening at the home of Miss Gertrude Herbst In South Hohman street was postponed. The young ladies of the club will bi the guests of the Misses Hulda and Augusta Klein at their home in Conkey avenue Thursday evening of this week. They will devote the evening to needle work and music. MEETINU IS POSTPOXED. The young ladies of the Phllathea club decided to postpone the meeting which was announced to take place last evening in the parlors of the First Baptist church in Sibley street. The meeting was postponed on account of the absence of several of the members from the city. The announcement of

A HOME WKDDIXiG A very quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized this afternoon at three o, clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hartley. 136 Russell St., when their daughter Miss Mae Hartley was united in marriage to Mr. Wlllard E. Wolf of Kenebec, South Dakota. The Rev. A. W. Hofnian, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiated at the service, and used the ring ceremony of the church.1 The ceremony was very simple in. its details and only the members of the Immediate families and a few relatives were invited to be in attendance. Mrs. Connors claims that she hai been deserted and terribly mistreated by her husband. Se says that after the death of her first child her husband becamt intoxicated and beat and cuffed her. She related in her complaint that Connors was arrested and convicted of wife beating, and that on one occasion that he attempted to kill the plaintiff. Later he was arrested for assault and battery. The plaintiff sues for $1,000 alimony. The suit was Ktarted by Attorney Clarence Bretscli of Gary.

Bicknell Now Grandfather. Henry M. Bicknell has dropped his title of "Dady" and has become "DaDa." This all came about as the result of the arrival of a baby girl, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kramer, who are temporarily residing with Mrs. Kramer's father. Mr. Bicknell. Mr. Kramer is receiving - the congratulations of his friends and acquaintances in this city, i Mrs. Kramer, who was formerly Mrs. Nellie Dunham, is doing nicely.
