Mns. KASSOX EXTKKT4INS. One of the delightful entertainments of yesterday was an afternoon party at which Mrs. Charles Kaason was hostess at her residence in Webb street. Her guests for the afternoon were the members of the Columbia Club who met for their regular bimonthly meeting and Mrs. Orlan Grant of Rensselaer, her house guest. An enjoyable time was spent at the card tables where the guests played several games of progressive euchre. Mrs. John E. Fitzgerald received the first honors in the games am! AX AVTERXOON CARD PARTI'. A pleasant meeting of the members of the Good Will Club took place yesterday afternoon when Mrs. Fred Kraaloweta entertained at the home of Mrs. Frank AValler. 218 Truman avenue. All the members were present and spent an enjoyable time, at the card tables. After playing several games of pedro the honors were awarded among the members. The hostess retained the first prize, as is customary in the club, and the remaining honors were won by Mrs. Mabel

Truedell. Mrs. Thomas Kennedy and Mrs. Frank Waller. At the conclusion of the games a dainty luncheon was

served and the guests spent an hour in social conversation. Large bunches of lilacs were chosen for the decorations in the parlors. Mrs. Thomas Kennedy was named as the next hostess and she will entertain in two weeks at her homo in Sn'th llohman street. CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY. One of the most charming of the week's social entertainments was a dinner at which Mr. and Mrs. Kdward Muenich entertained a number of the'.r friends and relatives last evening at their home, 647 Ann street. The party was given to celebrate their twentyfifth wedding anniversary and they received a number of beautiful gifts !n

Mr. and Mrs. Muenich received their guests in the parlors where they spent the time socially in conversation until they were invited into the dining room at six o'clock for dinner. An elaborate dinner of five courses was served. The tables had pretty decorations of American Beauty roses. In the parlors the decorations were potted palms and ferns "find large bunches of American Beauty roses. Following the serving of the dinner the guests returned to the parlors where the remainder of the evening was spent with music. Mrs. Arthur Kerber, Mrs. Harry Coin and Miss Helen Kerber of Chicago were among the out of town guests at the pretty function.

ENTERTAINS 1XFOR SLA LL Y. Mrs.. M. Pelzman entertained the members of the Cerona Club very pleasantly at her home in East State street yesterday afternoon. The members met socially and enjoyed their needle work durVng the afternoon. There were other social features arranged for the guests entertainment after which a daintily arranged three course luncheon was served. The tables were pretty with bowls of flowers as their only decoration. Mrs. Henry Biyge will be the next hostess and will entertain the members at her home in Carroll street in two weeks. ENTERTAINS AT CARDS.

A very enjoyable social meeting of

the members of Circle No. 1 of St. Margarets Hospital took place yesterday at the home of Mrs. Henry Bieker In East Sibley street. It was the after

noon for the regular bi-monthly meeting and many of the members were present. Mrs. Bieker also entertained a few friends, not members of the

circle. The guests met socially and

enjoyed card games. Several games of

pedro were played at .small tables in

the parlors and the honors were won

by Mrs. Jacob Weis and Mrs. George

Eder. Mrs. H. G. Stevenson was

awarded the consolation prize. The prize -among the guests was won by

Mrs. Mat Kolb. Following the games other social diversions were enjoyed until the luncheon was served, Mrs. Bieker served her guests with a daintily arranged course luncheon at the small tables.' Mrs. J. Fox was named as the next hostess and she will entertain in two weeks at her home In Doty street. MRS. PETRIE ENTERTAINS. Mrs. Petrie was hostess at a very

pretty party given yesterday afternoon at the home of Mrs. O. C. Trout in

Truman " avenue. The entertainment

was given in honor of the members of

the Eyelet Embroidery Club. It was the afternoon for the regular club

meeting and all the members were
