A SIRPHISE PARTY. One of the very delightful entertainments of yesterday afternon was a surprise party given tn compliment to Mrs. M. Pelzman her hxune in State street.
The party was given to celebrate her
birthday anniversary and she was presented with a number of pretty gifts in remembrance of tho day. Among the

a bouquet of American Beauty roses from the ladies of the Fern Leaf Linen Club of whuch Mrs. Pelzman is a member. The afternoon was spent very
