A FARBWGLIj PARTY. On Tuesday evening. April 11th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Marlatt, 522 Sibley street a .very pretty party was given as a farewell to Miss Mabel Ault who left yesterday for Dallas, Texas to make her home in the future. Little Miss Ault received many pretty remembrance from her friends. Games and music were features of the evening's entertainment following which a dainty luncheon was served. Dainty Easter novelties tied with blue ribbons and for-get-me-nota were given tne guests as favors. A THIMBLE PARTY.

Miss Leah Shroyer entertained the

young ladies of the G. E. E. Club at their weekly thimble party at her home in Sibley street last evening. All the

members were present and Miss Shroyer had as her only invited guest, her little cousin, Evelyn Haelster. An

enjoyable time was spent with needle

work and music following whlcSl the hostess served a dainty luncheon. Miss Maude Foley will entertain the young ladies at their next meeting, Friday evening, April 21st at her home in Sonl

street. The same program of entertainment will be enjoyed.

MEETING WAS POSTPONED.

The young ladles of the J. F. F. Club

decided to postpone the meeting which

was announced to take place last evening for another week. The party will

be given nest Friday evening, April

1 21st and the hostess will be aaed later.

SECl'RE A LICENSE.

A marriage license was granted Miss

Carrie H. Bush of Hammond and

George D. Bowes of Chicago in Chi c&go today. ' The announcement reach

led Hammond this afternoon and was

received with interest by the many

friends of the young people.

Sisters took place last evening in the were present. The afternoon was de

K. of P. Hall. There was a large attendance of members and the routine business waa disposed of at an early hour. There was invitation of candidates during the lodge session. The final .arrangements were made for an entertainment to be given Friday evening, April 28th at the K. of P. Hall. They will give a little play "His Model Wife." An Invitation is extended the public to attend and a small admission of fifteen cents will be asked. The proceeds will be used for the benefit of the temple.
