The work on the new building is progressing rapidly, but March will be the earliest at which the Whiting office can be moved. Miss Mary Hickey of NewYork avenue entertained Miss Mayme Byrne of the East Side yesterday. Several Whiting girls are sporting fine new diamond -ings since Christmas. Of course, they are merely remembrances, but then it makes things look rather serious for those receiving them as Christmas gifts.
