will open the football season with their

first game at the Whiting baseball park

against the Hyde Park Maroons, the

only team to defeat East Chicago for two seasons. ' Manager Hascall has secured the park for the season and already has two good games booked, and the H. A. A. team Is billed for Oct. 30. The lineup -of the East Chicago team remains practically the same as last

year, with the addition of a few new men. Murphy, Mcintosh, McShane and Hascall will form the back field, while Douglas, McDIllon, French, Gibbons, Garrett, Snedden, Cadman and Lowrey will be the mainstays in the line. The Hyde Parks will present a much stronger line this season and will outweigh East Chicago about ten .pounds to the man. A conference official will be secured to referee, so as to prevent any arguments. ', The game Sunday will begin promptly at 3 o'clock.
