Complain About Water. Property owners and residents of the east side of Broadway, between the Pennsylvania railroad and Twenty-third
avenue, have complained to me city
authorities about the water supply in
that region. They state that the sup
ply is very low and that there is but one good well in the neighborhood. The
others are too dangerous to use. They suggest in their petition that the Gary Heat, Light and Water company extend its mains in that section of the city. This will give a pure water supply and eliminate the health menaces. W. B. Gill and G. D. Watson are signers of the petition. An aldermanic committee will investigate the conditions.
