BPEJTU A. PLEASANT ETEXIXG. The members of the Fleurdelis Club spent a very pleasant evening- as the guests of Mrs. Mary Kralowetp last evening at her home In Plummer avenue. It wu the regular -bi-monthly meeting and all the members were present. A pleasant time was spent playing cards. Pedro was the game chosen for the evening and after several games the honors were awarded. Miss Anna Rohrman was awarded first honors and Mrs. James the second. The consolation prize was won by Mrs. John Huber. 'A daintily arranged course luncheon was serred at small tables following the games. Miss Rohrman will be the next hostess and will entertain at her home in East State street in two weeks.

He received many very pretty gifts in remembrance of the day. The afternoon was spen with games and several of the children gave recitations and songs until they were invited into teh dining room and served with a daintily prepared fou course luncheon. A birthday cake with six candles was chosen as a cente piece on the table and other pretty and attractive souvenirs were used in tne table decoration. Mrs. James Dibbles was hostess to the members of the Deborah Aid Society of the First Christian church yes terday afternoon at her residence in Bauer street. - It was the regular weekly afternoon meeting; and many members were present The routine business was transacted and the remainder of the aftenroon was psent with sewing for the benefit of the society and church. During the social hour the hostess served her guests with dainty refreshments. The next meeting will be given next Thursday afternoon as usual and rs. A pleasant meeting of the members of the Martah Aid Society of the First Christian church took place yester day at the home of Mrs. Sauer's in Plummer avenue. During the business hour, the necessary business was transacted and plans were made for the next meeting place. Mrs. Seeley will entertain at her home in Summer street. A social hour was enjoyed and at four thirty oclock the guests were invited into the dining room and served with a dalntlly'arranged. two course luncheon. The table was prettily decorated with pink carnations and ferns. The usual number "of members were present and they received a cordial initation to attend the next meeting at the home of Mrs. Seeley. ENTERTAINS AT CARDS. Mrs. Otto Knoerer ery pleasantly entertained the members of Circle No. 1 of St. Margaret's Hospital yesterday afternoon at her home in Fayette street. Mrs Knoerer entertained at cards and the guests spent a very enjoyable time playing pedro. Several games were played at small tables in the parlors and the honors for the afternoon were won by Mrs. W. D. Wets, first and Mrs. Leonard Knoerwr, seo ond. The consolation prize was awarded to Mrs. Hoffman. At the close of the games a pleasant social time was spent with music and conversation un-v til five o'clock when a daintily arrang ed course luncheon was served. One of the pleasant meetings of the members of the Fern Leaf Linen Club took place yesterday afternoon when Mrs. Thomas Hart entertained at her home in'Sheffleld avenue. All the members were present and spent the afternoon in the usual way of the club with card games. The guests played several games of whist at small tables n the parlors and the honors were won by Mrs. Ray Fowler, Mrs. Thomas Hart and Mrs. Will Ziegler. The consola tion prize was awarded to Mrs. Pelzman. After the games music and con versation were features of the hour until the luncheon was announced. A two course luncheon was served. PERSONAL. Mrs. E. S. Sickles and little daughter have gone to Albany, N. Y. to Join Mr. Sickles who has been in the east for several weeks and they will make their home there in the future.
