It Is reported that Mr. Charles Frohman has secured both the English and American rights of Sir Arthur Wing Pinero's next play. For the cast of "The Fruit of Divorce" in which Arnold Daly is to star, Miss Hilda Spong and William Hawtrey have recently been engaged. John Hyams and Miss Leila Mclntyre began rehearsals last week for a new musical comedy in which they will star under the management of W. J. Block. William H. Crane will take a yachting trip at. the close of his tour. '

After the Gary city council had adjourned" as a meeting of the whole last night, the salaries of the police and fire department were revised on a new scale, as well as other, miscellaneous offices. They also adopted their first budget for the year, which is required under the law for a city. The salaries for the city employes, per month, are now fixed as follows:
