MARTIN IN BAD SHAPE.
(Special to The Times.)
East Chicago,-Ind., March 12. Martin
Leonard, a foreigner, was found lying in the middle of the .interurban tracks on Chicago avenue, near Oklahoma, by the train crew last night. The police were notified and the man,, who had been drinking, was taken to the station. His case, came up this morning before Mayor Schlieker, who fined him
$1 and costs.
This Is the third time that the same
thing has happened to men who have
become intoxicated with' liquor obtained
from the saloons in the Oklahoma district. Something must be wrong with the boose bought In that territory, as the three were all found in nearly the
same place on the tracks.
