This charming little costume Is a modified Louis XVI. type and the colors are a soft blending of gray with pink, called the "Wattteu tinting" by the artist dressmakers. Over a petticoat of gray permo fabric, a silky weave of mohair with wool threads. Is draped an overdress of changeable rose and 'gTay taffeta now coming into favor as a dress material once more. farewell to Frank Yalser, who will
soon leave Hammond to make his home

street. It was the regular meeting and there was a very good attendance of members considering the inclem
ent weather. During the early afternoon the routine business was disposed of and the names of several deserving faVnilies were presented and
given the proper attention. The public entertainment, which had been
planned for the near future has been
postponed indefinitely on account or
the Illness of several of the ladles in the society. The remainder of the
