Mrs. Charles Kasson of 1 Bellview place still remains ill with typhoid fever. She continues to improve slowly after several weeks' illness, but she has not been able to be up yet. The guests spent a very enjoyable so cial time and are planinng another meeting for next Tuesday, when Miss Lena Hopkins will entertain at her home in Ogden street. It was the regular meeting of the club members and several of them were In attendance. During the evening the gueets met in the parlors and enjoyed conversation and emhroldery work until a late hour when they were invited into the dining room and rved with a prettily arranged course luncheon. The evening will be devoted to games and music and a pleasant program of entertainmtnt will be carried out. A BAZAAR AND DINNER. The members of the Martha Aid Society of the First Christian church will hold an apron and handkerchief bazaar and New England supper next Saturday evening, Nov. 6 in the K. of P. hall. The bazaar will open early in the afternoon and continue during the afttrnoon and evening when fancy and useful handkerchiefs and aprons will be on sale. The serving of the dinner will begin at 5 o'clock and an excellent menu has been chostn by the committee in charge.
