Rothschild In Fouth Hohman street, has been postponed Indefinitely. The change was made on account of several of the ladies groins to attend the Indiana State Federation of club at South Bend. Ind.

RESOLUTIONS. At a special meeting- of the W. H. Calkins post last nigrht on the death of P. J. Golden, the following resolutions were passed and ordered spread on the records and given to the press. "Where it hath pleased our Heavenly Father to remove from the life militant to the life triumphant our comrade, P. J. Golden, who enlisted In the service of his country Nor. 20, 1863, enrolling In company C, 98th Pennsylvania regiment volunteer infantry, serving to the date of discharge, June' 29, 1865. "Be it resolved. First, that the W. II. Calkins post No. 802 hereby expresses it appreciation of tha worth of P. J. Golden as a faithful soldier and reliable comrade. Self-sacrificing in spirit, he was ready when the enemy threatened and attempted the life of the government, to brave the hardships of war, in defending its perpetuity. Resolved, Second, that It is our conviction that society has lost a valuable citizen, the community a good neigh

Mrs. Charles Bothwell has returned to her home in Crown Po;it after a short visit with friends in Hfrnmond. A DELIGHTFUL PARTY. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Johnston very delightfully entertained the members of the Monday Night club at their home In South Hohman street last evening. It la the first social meeting after the long summer vacation and the reorganization. The club was formerly composed of only ladies and they met Monday afternoons, but very recently the husbands of the members were invited to Join and the parties will be given every two weeks on Monday evening. Several of the members were present last evening and they spent a very enjoyable time playing bridge whist at email tables In the parlors.
