The marriage of Miss Lena Ruedi of Hammond to Mr. James Fay of East Chicago was solemnised this morning at All Saint's Catholic church. The ceremony was a very pretty and quiet one, only the Immediate families being in attendance. The Rev. Father Bar rett officiated at the ceremony, using the pretty ring ceremony of the church Miss Fay and Mr. Fay, brother and sister of the groom attended the bridal couple as maid of honor and best man The bride wore a very pretty gown of b'.ue messallne silk and a large pic ture hat. Her traveling gown was tailored gown of tan broadcloth and she wore a large picture hat to match At the close of the church ceremony the guests drove to the home of the bride's parents in Lincoln avenue. West Hammond. A dainty breakfast was served in the dining room and the tiMe was attractively decorated with Tit flowers and ferns. The remainder of the day was pleasantly spent in social way. Mr. and Mrs. Fay left this aftfrnoon for points in Michigan where thej will spend several Wfeks visit Ing and on their return they will make their home with the bride's parents They received several very pretty and valuable gifts from their friends and relatives. The young people are very well known in Hammond and East Chi cago and the announcement of their marriage will bring them the congrat illations ana oest wishes of many friends.
