The Hammond high school football

team will not play a game next Saturday. This is due to the fact that the

school Is only allowed to play six games

a season, according to the agreement

with the northern Indiana high schools,

and does not want to waste any of Its

games on unimportant contests.

The high school had a chance to play Rockford, 111., but it was not thought
