Federal postal inspectors are today investigating thoroughly th blackmail letter received by members of The Times staff at Gary, in which their lives were threatened If they persisted in agitating further the reform wave which Is purging Gary of Its vice. Although The Times has offered $100 reward for information as to the author of the epistle, not the slightest Information as to the author has yet been received. This lelrr so openly admits the lamSt1? which has been done to the intferworld by The Times' anti-vice I sade, that this paper gives the con
tents to the public verbatim. The letter verbatim, which is copiously decorated with daggers, guns, skulls, etc.. Is: "Gary, Indi. "Mrs. Times Ed's. "Parry and Woods. "We wish to give you fair warning not to do what you are doin. You think you are smart but you did us great harm. Be careful wher you go as we watch you as a dog. Are guns are loaded so don't come by the pach any more If you care for your lifes. We gets Parry first. We means business and some morning you will be so full as bullets. You thinks you are a smart bunsch to come to our place and then talk in your paper. Beware our gang cause we will do you up. We do what we say. So you hed better kept wach on yourself."
