Warm Weather Clothes
be
pHE severely tailor made young
1 -woman Is at her best during the
summer months.
Ruffles and embroidery gTOW limp with heat, but a well made linen suit
holds its own better than anything
else.
To be nerfectlv tailor made such a
costume should have no fullness in
the sleeves, which ought to be made
Just as a man's are.
The skirt should be without plaits or anything that can be easily dlsar- I
ranged, and the shirt waist should
of fine linen strictly tailored.
The girl who affects white tailor
mades should remember that 6he can
not keep spick and span unless she
has at least four of these costumes. It is better if she has six. If she can
not afford to change very often she had better stick to colors. One sees j so much "mussy white" on people who
should know tetter.
The plain sailor hat is the thing for hot weather.- It Is cool, lightweight and has nothing about it that the dust
will ruin. Morning dresses of linen with wide lace collars- are charming if they are kept well pressed and the
collars and ties are carefully pinned.
The girl who is not particular in
dressing herself had better avoid I
everything which is not tailor made.
The coolest shoe for hot weather is , that of suede. It also gives with every
movement and is soft and comforting to tender feet.
Work For the New Tenements!
Every woman who wants to better :he condition of the poor should work lard in favor of the new tenements. They are to be built around courtyards after the custom in London and Berlin. Thi will give co-operative l ack yards to the tenants and allow ight and air to reach every room. Had air even more than bad -food is killing the poor.

The New Style Brooms EVEN in ordinary housecleanlng utensils there are novelties. Here are two brooms, one to be used in a room with round corners, the other in the ordinary room with square corners. The common broom is absolutely thrown into the shade by these up to date articles and looks as though it would be laid on the shelf very soon.
