lives in Michigan City. After struggling along during the recent panic, trying to eke out an existence for himself and wife, the man finally came to Gary, where after a long and persistent search he finally found employment. While on his way back to Michigan City to tell his wife of his good fortune, the man was killed. The wife of Gondek lived at 212 Barker avenue, Michigan City, where the family had moved when the husband secured a position in the Haskel & Barker car works. Here she waited, day after day for news of her husband's success or failure to secure employment, not knowing that he was dying in Gary, and later that he was dead. The man was formerly employed at the UnU-ersal cement works in Gary. While, working in this city he resided at the house of his sister, who lived at 3727 Butternut street.

(Special to The Times.) Indiana Harbor, Ind., June 24. Elmer Wolfgram, son of William A. Wolfgram of 1618 North Tolman avenue, Chicago, is missing from his home, and the police of East Chicago and Indiana Harbor have been asked to be on the lookout for him. Young Wolfgram is the

youth who a short time ago was arrested in Michigan City, having stolen a bicycle belonging to Itex Walton, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Walton. Wolfgram asked for a ride on the wheel, and instead of going a couple of blocks on It and returning as had been expected he would do, he rode away

on the machine and putting up a pitiful tale about a sick relatives he sold the wheel for $2 and proceeded on his way to Michigan City. It is suspected this time that young Wolfgram's destinaiton was Miller's Station, which plice seemed to have made a favorable impression on him. The boy's father is an electrical contractor.
