made more effective by presentation on the stage. The play is well constructed and acted with a dash and spirit looked for in all first class productions. The locale of the play lends Itself to beautiful scenic environments, all heightened by the costuming of the characters in the national dress of the country. The company presenting the play is an adequate one, all of them having been highly recommended for their 'individual and ensemble work. As a dramatization of one of the popular American novels. "Grustark" is well worth witnessing.

"THE YANKEE DRUMMERS.

There has been scores of comedians of different types produced in the last

few years, most If not all founded on the lines of mistaken Identity but in this line of comedy work there are in all probability no comedians who have at their disposal a better field than the Lyman Twin Brothers who will be seen here Sunday. April 25 at the Towle

opera house in their latest musical ; farce "The Yankee Drummers." It is hard to comprehend the true meaning of "mistaken identity both from a funny as well as a serious standpoint until you see it portrayed by two persons like the Lyman Twins, who look exactly alike and taken for one another at every turn, for instance if one was married and one single and the wife of the married was to meet the single one, run up and kiss him, tell him about the new suit she just purchased and ask him for two dollars to buy shoes for the baby, the poor man would be dumb founded. That is real mistaken identity. "Ci RAl'S T A R Iv." A dramatization of George Barr McCutcheon's novel "Graustark" is to be the attraction for Saturday matinee and night, May 1st, at the Towle opera house. The theme of "Graustark" is as well known as any of the hovels of recent years and the play closely follows Mr. McCutcheon's book for

stage purposes. The dramatization is along romantic lines, and there are numerous climaxes and situations,
