the hundreds who go to the Bohemian

not to confine himself to any one school, and in this respect, too, he forms a notable exception to most of the Eng

The Athletic association was not
helped a great deal judging by the pro
ceeds made at the last game. Not as
laree a crowd was present as was
expected. But then no tickets were
placed on sale before the contest and
this accounts for it. The management
expect to make up for this at the nex game.
School started again today after the
holiday vacation. Its now hard work until the spring vacation. Everybody is looking fine, and the next semester will be a record-breaker. Mr. Allee began his duties today. He is the new instructor in physics, and is the brother of Mr. Clyde Allee, the recent science instructor. Aside from his value as an educator he will be valuable in athletics, and Hammond will now have more than one coach. The report cards will be given out this week, no doubt, Wednesday the usual time. It was impossible to make the grades for the cards before the holidays, so this necessitates the giving out of the cards this week.
Now ince the Christmas vacation is over the spring vacation is the one looked forward too. It is a long way off, but hard work will make the time seem shorter. Everybody work hard and the time will be around before one knows it The principal's office has been decorated during the vacation. This was, no doubt, a Christmas gift to Mr. Mc-Elroy.
Winning that double-header last Saturday night by triumphing over the McKinley and Gary high schools put the Hammond team just one more round up the ladder. Hammond will be there again as last year when the championship is reckoned. Everybody report having spent an enjoyable vacation.'
