Musical a Rare Treat. A rare treat was afforded Crown Point music lovers at the "opera night" of the Fortnightly club held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Root on Monday evening In which the talented Chicago artistes Miss Minine Bergman, vocalist, and Miss Mae Dolling, pianist, appeared and won the applause and appreciation of the assembled audience by the rendition of a selected program of vocal and instrumental numbers in a manner that Is rarely heard outside of the musical centers of the larger cities. Both artists were at their best and' the repeated encores was evidence that their selections were appreciated by the club members and its friends. The only regrettable feature of the enjoyable evening's musical entertainment was the fact that the audience was smaller than it should have been, considering the excellence ofthe talent.
