Miss Irene Mott entertained at a very delightful 6:30 o'clock dinner last evening at her home In South Hohman street in honor of Hiss Kae Rockwell of Crown Point and Victor Dyer, whose wedding takes place Nov. 18 1 Crown Point at the home of Miss Rockwell's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Meeker. The dinner was very prettily served in the dining-room, where pretty decoration's in yellow and white were used. Chrysanthemums Were used as a center piece on the table. The evening was spent in a very informal way with music. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Scott, Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey Gostlin. Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Mott, Miss Rae Rockwell, Fred Crumpacker and Victor Dyer. laAlU-V RECEPTION. Mrs. William Henry Gostlin is holding a large rereption this afternoon at her prrtty residence In Homewbod for Mrs. William Harvey. Gostlin. Invitations were issued to more than 150 guests, many who will attend "from out-of-town. Hammond Temple No. 73 of Pythian Sisters will give another of the popular pedro parties this evening at the K. of P. hall. Prizes will be awarded the winners of the games and a pleasant time is assured all who attend. WOMAN'S OLUR MEETING. Mrs. O. P. Kinsey, of Valparaiso, exstate president of the Federation of Woman's clubs, will be present at the meeting of the Hammond Woman's club Saturday afternoon in the MasonU temple. She will give a talk on Worn, ens clubs which promises to be of interest to all the members and friends o'f the club. The charity committee will be in charge of the afternoons program and will serve dainty refreshments at the close of the afternoon. A program of instrumental and vocal music and readings has been arranged. An admission will be charged all persons not members ot the club and the proceeds will be used for the charity fund. .
