- The recital given by the orchestra of
St. Mary's church last evening, under
the direction of Rev. Father George
Lsuer was well attended, over three hundred seats being occupied in I. O. O. F. hall. The numbers were all delicately rendered, the musical and elocutionary sections of the program eliciting the sincere applause of the audience. Father Lauer is to be highly congratulated upon the success of his orchestra, built under his own supervision of unskilled amateurs, and to the pupils themselves is duo the credit for their persistence In continuing under his able direction.
