AT TOWLE'S TONIGHT. '. When the most competent critic and

hlghtest authority on the subpect in this country said "There are no pictures Like Lyman H. Howe's" he expressed tlje conviction of every one familiar with' his now famous exhibi tions. They are not only the bpst neon in this country, but those who travel abroad are unanmious in declaring that Europe has no similar exhibition that equals this. All lovers of intelligent yet clean and wholesome amusement will therefore welcome this perenialiy popular and reliable attraction to be seen at .the Towle opera house to night. No attraction of any class nor at any price abounds in so much that is so new, novel, and really interesting. This is particularly true of Mr. Howe's new program. A perusal of it is enough to show that his pampra.i have hin busy everywhere since his last engagement here. From life in Holland to life in Zululand Is a far cry. But not too far for Mr. Howp'.o fit a tf nf photographers. For the present program reveals the odd and curious phases of life in both countries. Lovers of nature will take a keen delight in the remarkable portraits of wild animals enjoying practical freedom, as well as the wonderful close range views of wild birds at home. Those who crave excitement will be more than gratified by a thrilling ride in an automobile racing at the rate of 80 miles an hour, and the sensational and desperate rescue of fire victims from the top floors of a sky-scraper enveloped in flames. The scenes of a French Sailor's Life will exceed the mos.t sanguine exceptions of those ivho are deeply interested in the glories and grim realities of actual war. To allyoung or old regardless of tastes and Interests the new program will coma as one of the most varied and delightful ever seen. HAMMOND SOCIALISTS WILL MEET TOMORROW.
