Mclntyre: We advise caution about buying too much stock either for in vestment or speculative purposes at the present level. Chicago: Wheat opened tame and decidedly of holiday character with prices off one-quarter to three-eighths. Corn started even tamer than wheat. A. little selling by Schultz, a provision trader. Oats started one-eighth to one-quarter lower, with selling by the same people as yesteruay. iemanu iinuieu. Provisions opened two and one-half to five cents lower, trade light with little pressure. Financial Bureau: On weakness In the standard list today we believe it will be well to buy conservatively for a turn. The reaction seems to us to be perfectly natural under existing conditions and the market may be a little irregular this morning. Shorts will not care to remain short over the holiday In the event of a failure to dislodge any amount of stocks and toward close it would not be surprising to see some covering. There is no question that the market will be an anti-holiday affair, for there :n-e manv brokers and traders absent from the street. Miller: We remain friendly to the ions- side, of the market on all reac tions. Ti.m: Think the market is In a position to respond quickly to any good buying or any similar break. Ware & Leland: It is possible that vimrmis efforts will be made to create further declines, but the market can congest very easily as the situation is a d we favor buying on weak spots. Partlett: Buy wheat on any break Hutton: There is to be a large shifting of loans this week incidental to the heavy January disbursement. Some of these loans will undoubtedly have to be liquidated, creating a ragged market. Standard Oil interests appear to ,.-. hut little support to men cn.,.iait)P :ind are believed to oe sell ing on the rallies by the Morgan fa tion. Barrell : Call money has been stiff and will probably remain so through the holidays. Do not look for. any renfWJ,i :ict!vitv until after the holidays. J DISCOURAGED AKD HAVE ABOUT I have been asked many times why I located here instead of down town In the main business center. I considered that matter well eleven years ago, and decided that I could get all the patients that I could attend to, and have proven such to be the fact. I could not do no more if down town. My expenses are eo much less here that I can afford to treat people for about one-half the amount I would be compelled to charge them if down town; besides, South Chicago is now large enough so that it has become an independent business center, with a great future before it. Below I mention a few of the more common ailments which I treat, not having room for all.. If you have any disease that your consult me.
