"We think conservative buying on weak spots in order and continue of opinion that Union will sell above 120 and other stocks in proportion before any serious setbacks Ridgley. Concerning the statement that the United States Steel company has laid off, or is about to dispose of the services of 100,000 employes, President Corey denounced it absurd, ridiculous and not worthy of a moment's serious consideration. Instead of being any worse the situation shows noteworthy improvement. Joseph. There is considerable Interest as to this week's bank statement, the street generally seeming to have an air of uncertainty.
