BOAED WELL ANTICIPATE Oil THE LL3RARY FUND.

The carpenters have put up one of the portable buildings off Broadway, near Fourteenth avenue and are rabidly putting up the second. They aje fully meeting the expectations of the school superintendent and the board of education and no difflculty is anticipated with them. Miss Grace Brooks and Mr. Brlckley are in charge of the work in the two buildings. Practically all of the seats are already occupied and more children are yet to come, there being iuite a number who have not reported for attendance.

Charles Martin, who was formerly interested with Ingwald Moe, the contractor, in the operation of the theater in Mot's buildng, has sold out his interest to Mr. Moe, the transfer taking place yesterday after some discussion, and Mr. Moe is now sole owner. He has put in a new manager to take charge of the proposition and expects to devote less of his time in the future to his late hobby. The new management is introducing several good vaudeville features and everything bodes for better work and better results.

Mrs. Thomas H. Culter, who was suffering from a bad attack of tonsilitls, la considerably better. Mr. and Mrs. Culter expect to complete their removal into a company house on the west side the latter part of the week.

The frame work on th ice house and storage plant of the Bartholomae & Roeslng B. & M. company on the south side of the Michigan Central tracks, facing on Washington street. Is up and ready for the roof. The structure is a three-story affair, covering practically all of the fifty feet of frontage they have on that street.

The meeting between Trustee W. C. Kunert of Toleston with the local board relative to the disposition of the Clark annexation, is scheduled for this afternoon. School opened yesterday at Toleston, and Clark objected seriously to having her children "toted"

near South East Grove, died Monday afternoon of kidney trouble. She has been a sufferer nearly all summer, but

recovery. Not over nineteen months ago, the home was darkened with sadness by the death of the husband and

father, Mr. Chris. Zieseniss, Jr. The

deceased is 44 years of age and leaves
