The affair was in celebration of her birthday anniversary and in honor of this event' the guests presented Mrs. Shultz with a handsome rocking chair. The Hammond police were notified this morning that three bicycles at Burnham had been stolen and requested that the Hammond police be on the lookout for them. All three of the wheels are Monarchs and disappeared at the same time.

John Gtin.lerson. who confessed to the robbery "of the Northern Pacific Express company's office by holding up Fred Zimmerman, a clerk, compelling the latter to hand over a package of money containing $2r.000, has been sentenced to the St. Cloud reformatory. He was arraigned in the municipal court in the morning at his own request, where he waived the usual formalities and was immediately held to the district court, which had him sentenced at 2 p. m. Less than three days elapsed from tbe commission of the robbery to the sentence of the court. The sentence Is in the nature of an indeterminate one.
