The DeMotte team got off to a fast startand were never in trouble with the team. It was a very fast rough game. DeMotte committing 19 fouls and Cedar Lake 23. Marshall, Hoffman and Anderson did the most scoring for DeMotte, with Marshall pouring in 29 points for high scoring honors and for Cedar Lake Rouschlange was high with 18. The final count wound up with DeMotte in front 80 to 41. The preliminary game was also won by DeMotte, over Hammond, 24-23.
