Benefit Ball Game Friday, August 26

There will be a benefit softball game Friday evening, August 26, between the American Reform and Lions Club teams. Free will offering will be taken for the benefit of Charles Abbring and Dick Peterson, who were injured while playing ball on the local diamond r recently. Any donations received will be greatly appreciated, as there has been considerable expense occured on each individual injured and there is no insurance carried by the ball club. People of DeMotte and vicinity have enjoyed a lot of free entertainment this season from these ball players and any help you can possiblely will be greatly appreciated.
