A full program of kha.in.ess racing is—scheduled fori Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. A brand new mus- I j ical revue, “Summer Sensations of 1949.” will furnish Grandstand I entertainment on Wednesday, i Thursday and Friday nights. A new feature, The Oiiginal Amateur winners, created by Ma- i i jor Bowes and direct from the ■ American Broadcasting Corporation network, has been booked for Saturday, September 3rd. with afternoon and night showings. This | | program will consist of eight higj acts augmented by a number of amateurs selected from local communities. All are invited to enter this feature. Those to appear will jbe selected following preliminary i auditions. There will, of course, be the ; usual big Midway plus shows and exhibits which have made this one of the most popular County Fairs in this section of the midwest.

Frarifc C. Teach was been confined to his home on S. College avenue for the past two weeks. Until the past day or two he was confined to his bed but he is now able to be up part of the time. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Bass went to Rockford, Illinois, Tuesday where they are visiting their son and family. Miss Marie Intveld and Rose Mai-ie Rakker spent Sunday evtning with Mrs. Neola True.
