BOY SCOUTS SEE CUBSPITTSBURG GAME IN CHICAGO
On Wednesday morning 1 15 boy scouts from DeMotte Club 57. motored to Chicago to see the baseball game between the Cubs and Pittsburg. This is an annual outing and a great day for the boys. Fred Boissy, well known man about town, both in DeMotte and Chicago is responsible for the free tickets. The taxes on same being the only cost to the boys. Herman Heimlich, Otto DeYoung Jr., Neal Swart, John Hission and Bruce Todd furnished transportation for the club. Mrs. Bruce Todd, the only lady in the group, accompanied her husband. Mr. Fred Boissy also attended the game, driving his car and being host to Carp DeVries, a great Cub fan, who had never seen the Cubs play or seen their park until Wednesday.
