Grain Storage Space Critical
As it becomes evident that the CCC will be unable to move the corn stoi*ed under the Federal Loan program and another bumper crop beginning to show up, the need for storage space for this years crop becomes very critical. The supply of bins and cribs available is limited and if you will need the space now is the time to arrange for it. The demand will be so heavy this fall that it will be impossible to obtain the desired crib room, Many farmers have needed additional crib and granary space but have not obtained it because of the cost. The storage fee being paid on grain held over will help materially in paying for the needed room. The Farm Development loan being made by the Farmers Home Administration may be the answer for marry who are unable to finance this needed improvement. Loans are made to farmers at 4 per cent interest and are amortized over a 40 year repayment schedule. This loan is not limited to crib and grain storage space but may be used for any development and | improvement of the farm. Anyone interested should contact Hale S. Jewett, local Supervisor of the FHA whose office is located in the basement of the Postoffice in Rensselaer.
