TWO INJURED AT BALL GAME MONDAY EVENING

Air. Charles Abbring received a fractured ankle, while sliding to base, at the ball game Monday evening, here on the home diamond. He was taken to the Jasper county hospital in the Todd ambulance, where the severity of the fracture caused his physician to send him to a Lafayette hospital for special attention. The same evening Dick HeruwPeterson, all star pitcher, fractured his right elbow, as he collided with another player while running to home plate.
