LEGION CANDIDATES

Fort Wayne, Aug. 3. - Campaigning for votes already was brisk today m American Legion circles, although the veterans’ organization does not open its 31st state convention until Saturday. Backers of three candidates for state commander were busy promoting their favorites. Announced aspirants to the legion’s top Hoosier post are Homer McDaniel, Dunkirk; Jack W. McIntyre, Bloomfield, and Berry Hurley, Daleville.
