COUPLE KILLED

Gary, Aug. fl. A married couple was killed and their small son injured today when their automobile was struck by a trailer at ft highway intersection. The dead were identified as August Wirsum, *lB. and his wife, Catherine, 4(5. Their son, Charles, was in fair condition. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S, 12 and 20. Arthur Lee, driver of the trailer, said the W irsum car appeared in his path ft nd that he was unable to avoid hitting it. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Van Wienen and daughters attended the .Railroad —fair —in —Chicago— Tuesday. ofrs. Wolf and Mrs. Nagey of Kniman visited Mrs. H. ,J. Heniidie this week.
