OVERPOPULATION THREAT TO PEACE
Cleveland.—World-wide population control is an absolute essential for world peace. That is the opinion of Dr. Gerald F. Winfield of New York, research biologist and specialist on the problems of China and her people. Dr. Winfield, speaKing at a recent meeting of the Maternal Health Association of Cleveland, told members that the key to solving the overpopulation problem is a medical health program to reduce births as fast as the deaths. He favors a combined obstetrical and pediatric service to give mothers prenatal and postnatal care and to teach them how to space their children. Mrs. Albert Hoehn recently received an award from Prarie Farmer, as a winner in a contest they had in their magazine.
