CENSUS INCREASE

Chicago, July 28. The 1949 Britannica Book of the Year believes next year’s U. S. census may reveal a national population of more than 150 million persons, because of record immigration and birth rate increases. Britannica foresees a population of 159,000,000 in 1955. Mr. John Broertjes went to Iowa Thursday to visit friends.
