D.R.A. STARTS NIGHT HORSESHOES AND TENNIS
For those who come to the local softball diamond “just for the ride,” the DeMotte Recreation Association has no\y provided lights for those more interested in playing tennis or horseshoe, thanks to Marvin Kessinger and Bob Walstra, a couple of accommodating electricians. Lights will be available on regular softball nights, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. A second horseshoe court is being planned, and a horseshoe tourney, under the direction of Baker Man, (Pop) Rowen is also to begin in the near future. Mr. Rowen will have in his- bakery a name—sheet for all who are interested in such a tourney. Next Tuesday night, at the horseshoe courts, he is calling a meeting for the making of tourney rules and arrangements. If interested, you are invited to sign up at the bakery and be- among those present at the Tuesday riight meeting.
