TEFFT FARMERS RECEIVE TOP PRICES FOR CATTLE

Chicago, July 11. Clarence and Eugene Stalbaum, of Tefft, sold cattle ta the Chicago Stock Yards this morning. Clarence marketed 40 head of 1135-pound steers at $26.50 per cwt. Eugene sold 17 head of 1122-pounders at $27.00. The cattle market was steady to 25 cents higher today with a strong top of $28.75 per cwt. Hogs were 25 cents higher with a top of $22.00. Merl Curtin, who lias been off lie ‘job’ the past several months -cause of illness, returned to work Monday, Mrs. M. St. John and daughters are visiting relatives in Wyoming, Illinois, this week.
